2 of my favorite YouTube channels. I am a loyal member of salt strong but you gotta love Brant, That man is very intelligent. I love watching his channel, I watch every video every week That was an excellent Podcast I enjoyed that greatly. I would love to see you do a Podcast with camera man Ron. I believe Brant has taught him almost everything he knows about salt water fishing. I would love to Hear how Ron has gone from bass fishing in Kentucky to learning saltwater fishing in Florida with Brant. I would also love to see camera man Ron at the next creators meeting. While financial considerations were not included in the rationale for selling the boat and becoming land based, a year or two from now, that will be the best reason. People’s income will continue to lag inflation, and their discretionary income for high priced vacations and charters will wane. The blue teams propaganda that inflation is transitory and any recession will be short and shallow is nonsense as many Americans struggling with just inflation have finally come to appreciate. By offering beach fishing, it will be much more affordable and have less competition. Good luck in this new phase of business!
Yep! The cost of boats has gone through the roof (to the point it barely makes financial sense). I saw a 17 foot used Maverick (with no special bells or whistles) listed for $72,000! True, it only had 100 hours on the Yamaha, but that’s still only a $10k motor brand new. Nuts
Great podcast! Brant is always thoughtful and funny, and I found his comments on this podcast, on why he’s doing what he’s doing (regarding fishing, real estate, etc.) very insightful.
In one of Brant’s videos from a year or so ago, he and CMR caught one of “my” plus-sized bluegills at my dock. I was horrified that a horde of anglers would show up to target my hand-fed ‘gills. I’m glad my fear was unrealized!
That’s wild! I would have been freaking out if I saw a YouTuber filming next to my dock, too!
