If you’ve ever struggled to catch fish with artificial lures, you’re not alone.
But what if I told you there’s one lure that makes it almost too easy to hook up? No crazy techniques, no complicated gear—just cast and reel.
The best part? It’s not just easy to use—it’s deadly effective. I’ve seen it pull in redfish, trout, and more with minimal effort.
In this video, I break down exactly how to set it up, how to fish it in any depth, and why it’s the go-to for beginners and pros alike.

Plain & simple Tony, paddle tails CATCH FISH !!!!! Thanks for the on-point lesson !!
They sure do!
I do struggle (and frustrated) using artificial lures. I’m getting complacent relying on live or dead shrimp. I think I’ll try leaving the bait bucket home and spend the day using only lures. I’m getting really good finding the 90% rule, I just need to flip the equation. LOL. Thank you for the reminder.
Yep definitely leave the bait bucket and anything that would give you the urge to go back to live bait at home. Its definitely a learning curve with artificial lures, but gotta stick to it. When I was learning fly fishing, I would bring a spinning rod and would always resort back to it whenever I was getting impatient. Finally left the spinning rods home and stuck to the fly and got better at it.
Tony is right. Sometimes I will only carry one type of lure with a couple of colors to force myself to learn them. When you do that, you have no choice but to use it and apply what you have learned from Tony and others and you will gain the confidence to catch some great fish
