Great podcast. I too wade-fish often for the same reason: it’s cheaper, easier, quicker, and simpler than a day on the boat. I don’t use booties because there are a LOT of stingrays where I frequent. Instead I use these TideWe nylon waders that are like $50 on Amazon that have lasted me for 3+ years. They get hot in summer but keep you warm in winter and add that extra layer of protection against the rays but also the skeeters and no-see-ums.
