What would you suggest as an all around rod and reel combo to handle the big fish on the pier? Things like Kings,Big Snook, Tarpon, Bonita and Blackfin Tuna.
I’ve already learned from watching these courses. I pier fished when I was younger.
Been waiting a long time for this upcoming Master course. Thanks for following through with you commitment to developing the course. For all you young fishermen out there, consider yourselves blessed that Saltstrong is in the business. Can’t wait to watch course.
Have you ever fished off the Gulfport, FL pier? Did you catch anything?
Can’t wait for this, we fish two piers either side of interstate 75 off of 301 in Ellenton. its mostly hit or miss, when the dolphins, Pelicans, and crab boats are around it seems like the fish push towards the shore line. I have caught a few trout in a trough north of the boat channel, I have pulled a couple of slot snook out of the mangroves, but there is no consistency regardless of tides. I fish both piers twice daily with mixed results. soooo any intel on pier fishing gets my full attention. Love all the stuff you fishing fellas are doing, Keep it up!
Looking forward to the course! I go and watch everyone else pull in fish while I just cast over and over.
This course is going to be awesome!
Would anyone by chance know the name of brants fathers book?
I sent Brant a text to find out (and if we can get our hands on a copy). Stay tuned
Great to hear the Breakfast secret tip coming to fruition; Wyatt should be consulting on rebuilding Bob Hall Pier in Texas
Good stuff, Ralph
“from alabama to panama…” WOW not much range! no mention of ft desoto????
We love Ft Desoto but piers like Navarre are in an entirely different class in terms of how many different fish you can catch (including bull reds, sailfish, mahi, tuna, etc).
