Equipment Used On This Trip:

Early Morning Setup (1 snook caught and 1 big fish lost):

Mid Morning Setup (1 snook, 4 trout, 1 redfish, 2 snapper)

Conclusion

Ozello is NOTHING like fishing around St. Pete/Tampa!

But it is always an adventure and learning experience fishing in a new area.

I’ve often thought about towing my Yak with my flats boat to areas that looked good to fish super shallow. but can’t seem to figure out how to take my yak and trailer at the same time. I don’t have a trailer for the yak (rides in the back of the truck), but I think it would be too long and interfere with the boat trailer. I might figure it out some day …
