Have you ever wanted to just quit your job, live on a boat, and fish every day?
To many of us, this sounds like a dream… but for Marty Zoffinger, that’s his reality!
This guy went from just “existing” and going through life without any passion, to living a life where every day he does what he loves.
Can you imagine that?
From a “normal guy” who accidentally fell in love with kayaking from a girl he was dating (which is how he ended up getting the famous red Kon Tiki kayak below), this is one amazing story.
In this episode, Marty shares his story of how so many “failures” lead to him living this dreamy island lifestyle.
For instance, he “failed” at owning a house, so he bought a boat to live on.
He “failed” at his job, so now he rents kayaks for a living.
If you’re feeling stuck in life, or wish you had the courage to chase your dreams, then you definitely want to tune in to this episode.
It’s a mix of inspiration, funny stories, and philosophy.
I went and visited him at his office/house/workshop (pictured below) and got to record this one live, and we do a tour of his kayaks and workshop, so I’d definitely recommend watching the video version of this episode.

WOW!!!!! What a free spirit. Not many personalities (including mine) would be able to take on the risk and sacrifice for what turned out to be ultimate reward in life. Marty is amazing! And you too Joe! If I only knew what kind of beer he liked I would love to pick some up for him and swing by one day.
