Do you need to replace the jig head on your DOA Swimmin’ Mullet or TerrorEyz?

A lot of people have been asking me this question, but I couldn’t find any videos online about how to do it.

It’s a simple process once you know what you’re doing, but it can be pretty confusing at first.

And if you’re not careful, you could ruin the baits by ripping them.

But in this video, I’ll show you how to quickly replace the hooks in both the DOA Swimmin’ Mullet and TerrorEyz.

Check it out below.

How To Replace The Jig Head On The DOA Swimmin’ Mullet

Here’s how to replace the hook on the DOA Swimmin’ Mullet, step by step:

  1. Pull the hook down through the bait
  2. Pull the head of the bait to the side off of the jig head (make sure to pull it up over the eye)
  3. Slide the hook out of the eye

Of course, if you’re putting the jig head back into the bait, you’ll just do the steps above in the opposite order.

How To Replace The Jig Head On The DOA TerrorEyz

Here’s how to replace the hook on the DOA TerrorEyz, step by step:

  1. Slide the head of the bait to the side off of the jig head (make sure to pull it up over the eye)
  2. Slide the hook out of the eye

And if you’re putting the jig head back into the bait, you’ll just do the steps above in the opposite order.

Whether you’re replacing the jig head or the body, the steps above will let you easily do that.

But be careful — if you’re not, you could tear the bait and ruin it.

Great video. Have caught a lot of fish on the Terror Eyz. One of my favorite tarpon baits.
