Some are better than others, some are only good in some scenarios, and some are even illegal!
Your hook is the only piece of equipment that’s actually touching the fish, so it’s super important in regards to landing fish.

Ironically I stopped using inline circles due to gut or gill hookup ratios compared to offsets. Nothing rusts faster then an owner hook, very high cost hook that disappeared before the next fishing trip. Vmc last longer but the gauge of wire sucks, mustard imo are the best
Great podcast on hooks. Cleared up a lot of unknowns for me. Could use some references like put hooks on backgrounds that clearly demo the shapes and next to rulers and suggest ruler sizes for target species as manufacurer’s sizes are not uniform. Thanks again.
