It’s time for the Strong Angler of the Week!
This is an honor that goes to an Insider who’s on the water catching fish and making memories with their loved ones.
This week we’ve got an amazing story of how Mark took his daughter and grandkids out fishing.
They caught tons of trout and jacks and his daughter even caught a fat overslot trout!
He barely fished himself — he was too busy baiting hooks and unhooking fish — but this was one of the most fun trips he’s had in a long time.

Mark, you nailed it. Your timing of discovery of Salt Strong summer 2021, reluctance to spend $100 but following of the freebie videos, the realization of the honest and helpful attitudes Joe, Luke, and the rest of the guys, etc. I couldn’t have said it better and want to copy/ paste the video with my pic and name on it. Hey Mark! Great Job on the day and the video! Thank you for sharing this, you have a beautiful family and are truly blessed. When you mentioned the Mahi fishing, I had flashbacks of the 70s and early 80s and the waters in front of Miami changing colors as the schools surrounded our boat. I wish you lived on the East Coast, I would love to meet you. Keep up the good work
Thank You for the kind words Victor! Getting in some of those mahi school runs are some of the best and most exciting times i’ve ever had on the water…. Its a crazy whirlwind and then all the sudden its over and you look around at the back of the boat and there are fish laying everywhere and it looks like a murder scene with all the fish blood everywhere 😛 .
