She Fishes: Capt. Debbie Hanson On Fresh vs. Salt, Fishing Jobs & More

http://capt%20debbie%20hanson%20podcast%20interview

This woman knows how to catch some fish!!

I first met Capt. Debbie Hanson of SheFishes2 at a conference where we were both speaking.

She’d recently walked away from a “corporate” job to pursue her love of the outdoors full time and as you’ll hear in this awesome interview, we should all be glad she did!

She’s making huge strides to get more female anglers out on the water and is taking the fishing industry by storm as she’s an award-winning writer, radio host, and full-time fishing guide.

Here’s a sneak preview of what we covered:

  • How to get more girls into fishing
  • Pursuing happiness (and not comfort)
  • What it takes to make it in the fishing industry — and how most people are getting it wrong
  • Saltwater vs. freshwater fishing
  • The most important thing to know if you want to be a good angler
  • And much more

Capt. Debbie is an incredible angler, guide, and role model, and I’m so pumped to have gotten her on the show.

As a father to two young girls, I’m thankful for women like Debbie who care about getting more girls fishing.
