It would be great if we could mark the spots and tracks while using smart fishing spots on a computer and then have that information push out to the app on the phone. This way we can plan on a bigger screen and its better than working.

Hey Fred, It actually does this so you can plan on desktop computer, draw routes, mark waypoints, etc. Then while you’re out on the water you can load the routes you saved as well as waypoints. You can also mark spots with your phone and records tracks and then reference them later on your desktop. All devices share the same data so everything is in sync.

Thanks, guys. These pre trips are very helpful. Pre planning has been my biggest challenge thus far. I have been STUDYING, every bit of information SS has to offer… well most of it. I’ve got everything set up and dailed in. Gear, line, leader, knots, soft plastics, power prawns, hard baits, top water, etc. and all the other gear and equipment needed to be successful. However, I’m struggling to get on fish. Occasionally, I’ll catch one maybe two fish, but not with confidence. I feel the fish I have caught were by luck/chance. All in all, I’m getting better, but my pre trip needs work.

Thanks, SS! This is such a helpful fishing club. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with, SS!

Furthermore, I’ve never run out of content to study. There hasn’t been a single question that I’ve come up with that SS doesn’t have a tip, video, podcast, pdf cheat sheet, mini courses, apps, literally all bases covered. Good on you guys, SS!

Does the smart fishing spots take into account the water temperature? It seems that the spots were the same this winter as they are now that the water temperature has changed considerably.

Yes, the system does factor in the water temps (as well as the trending temps).

Many spots are good throughout all seasons, so it’s not a surprise that many are showing throughout the year since the first layer of spots were focused on all season zones (the highlights just shift around based on the seasonal differences).

The current spots we’re loading are the more situational spots, so you’ll see more variety showing up and disappearing soon.

Great video guys !!! Can’t wait to see the combined apps together. Will it also walk you through decisions on how to approach the area decided ??

For approaching spots, we highly recommend going through the Positioning and Approach Mastery course linked here:
