I’ve got to admit, publishing this BIG VISION for our company is a bit scary…
I mean, we’re talking about a MASSIVE goal here…
But then I got to thinking about my own relationships with the brands that I gravitate towards, the brands that I enjoy buying from, the brands that I trust, and the brands that I root for.
And most of them all had these three things in common:
- They have a BIG vision to make the world a better place
- They have a clear path for consumers to join in on the movement
- They have a clearly defined vision of where they want to go
So Luke and I agreed that it’s time to let everyone know exactly where we’re going with Salt Strong…
It’s time to reveal exactly what’s driving us to get up every morning to help anglers catch more fish and maximize their time on the water…
We know that we can’t do it on our own and we’re praying daily for God’s favor in opening up the right doors, bringing the ideal teammates on board the Salt Strong rocket ship, and helping us make a big impact in this world through fishing.

Joe, Luke…….here’s hoping your vision incorporates active involvement in addressing the decades of watershed mismanagement in the state which have impacted fisheries as far south as Florida Bay, including the former world class fisheries in Lake Okeechobee and adjoining St. Lucie and Caloosahatchee Rivers, with associated impacts to coastal areas as far away as St. Lucie to the east and Fort Myers to the west.
Amen Gary. A fight we’ll all be having to make.
