Holy Flounder Attack!

Just wait until you see some of the strikes this flounder/fluke angler John Skinner caught on film!

It sucked me right in after the first hit at the 35-second mark.

And even though it is a few minutes longer than most of our videos here at Salt Strong, I assure you it is worth that watch if you like catching flounder like we do.

This epic underwater footage of flounder fishing with bucktail jigs was captured in 25 ft, which makes this video even more impressive.

In addition to the bucktail jigs, a 2nd bait used was a jighead with a Berkley Gulp on it, so make sure to stick around for the full video.

You can definitely learn a lot about flounder behavior and how they eat by watching this awesome flounder footage.

Enjoy the video, and great job John!

Let us know when you have more underwater footage like this.

Note: All footage in this video was done in Long Island Sound.

Wow that flounder video was awesome it really shows how they can blend into there surroundings perfectly it’s crazy how all of a sudden what you think is part of the bottom comes to life and chases the bait down I myself personally catch flounder with safty pin style spinnerba8ts with a paddletail grub I also tip it with à piece of fishbites made here in my local St Augustine FL area and I also use procure fish scent as well scent and action as well as extremely visible flash is very important here in Northeast Florida the water is tannin stained here all year long and the only real clear water we have is by our ocean inlets and copper or gold blades seem to work better here then silver blades anyways great video really enjoyed it thanks 😀
