Luke, those were beautifully bronzed Reds. Gorgeous coloration.
The water is just the right color for giving those redfish a cool bronzed look.
Well now… only thing left to do is take a third rod with you and up your game… Go for three… (might need Otis to help you there…) 😅 Good stuff…👏
Haha! Had Otis been there, it most likely would have been a skunk trip because he is so loud on the boat and those reds are finicky:)

Doubled up on reds out of the same school last fall in the Pamlico Sound behind Hatteras Island, NC. Cast to one, the school spooked and a second one hit a partial pinfish chunk I had forgotten about that was on a second rod out behind the kayak. Great memory. Way to go Luke – beautiful fish.

I would like you to say where you are when making your videos. Also, how about some videos of fishing from the beach or a nice spot near some mangroves while on land. I don’t at this time have the pleasure of owning a boat and I get all jealous watching you catch these beautiful fish. Just kidding but I sure love your videos.

Two questions. 1. Would a dip net make it easier to handle the fish? 2. Where’s Otis?
Yes, a landing net would have been helpful. But redfish are pretty easy to handle so it wasn’t an issue to not have one. Otis was at home because it was too calm out that day… I only bring him on windy days since he makes so much noise.
