Water levels fall during low tide which means the fish are forced into deeper pockets for comfort.

They will still feed during low tide but you need to find those depth changes and potholes to get strikes.

If you find depth changes in the form of potholes, drop-offs, or ledges, odds are you’ll find the fish.

It also helps to cover lots of ground using a weedless presentation.

The grass on most flats will sit higher because water levels will be low.

Hey Matt, thanks for another great video! I’m assuming you “found” that ledge on a small fish finder hooked up on your fishing Kayak. I have been thinking of buying one for my Hobie fishing kayak. Can you tell me the best kind of kayak fish finder for a beginner like me as well as type and number of batteries I would need. Thanks-Jackie
