I haven’t fished this part of the northern Mosquito Lagoon in quite some time.
My goal on this trip was to use extended cloud cover to my advantage and poke around exploring some different areas of the lagoon.
The Gold Digger Power Prawn U.S.A. Junior is coming with me on every single inshore fishing trip!
This is quickly going to become my confidence and go-to lure.
What an absolutely amazing trip!
It doesn’t get much better than overslot redfish in the lagoon on the Power Prawn U.S.A. Junior.
If you haven’t picked up a pack of these lures yet, then head on over to our tackle shop.
We also have the Power Prawn U.S.A. Junior available in F.R.E.D., Alabama Leprechaun, and Slam Shady lure colors!!

Catching a fish that’s too big for the net is a good problem to have. What pretty fish. I’m glad to see that Mosquito Lagoon is recovering well. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of being lied to. Especially, when it comes to Florida’s waters.
Heard about you from Rich at FishAholic on you tube I like what is here
So glad to see that you’re enjoying the website!
I don’t see many reds tailing in the Saint James City area. They seem to be around mangroves here and not out in the open flats much.
Excellent Video .. I am jealous ✌🏼
Another great posting Justin. Love that enthusiasm, you inspire us.
Nice reds Justin,
Especially when you are product testing for something else.
What type of retrieve did you use for the power prawn gold diggger?
I will try my best to comment on your Bixpy review as I have had a Bixpy on 2 kayaks for more than 2 years in SW FL.
Killer day my man! Nice ones!
Absolutely amazing! Great video! The gold digger power pawn will be on my box immediately!
Yeah Bud! I know you’ll love it.
I love watching you and the other kayakers catching fish. Please, don’t stop making kayak videos. I also enjoy the videos from the boats, but you and your team of kayakers are the best out there. Also, I would like to get my hands on your net–it would be the perfect size for use in my kayak. Who makes it and where did you get it? Maybe you can start selling them on fish strong.com.
Thanks Mark! There’s something special about fishing from a kayak…It allows me to get so close to these fish without setting them on edge. Such a fun style of fishing.
The net is a Frabil Floating Trout Net with a Rubber Mesh. We will certainly be adding these to the physical Store when we open up in early 2023. But for right now the challenge we would have is Shipping Costs for such a large/bulky item. Hopefully the shipping situation will improve soon.
