It’s newsletter time!

I hope you had a great week and got to get out there and catch some fish!

This past week my brother, Luke, and I got the opportunity to go to Louisiana and do some testing of our new lure, the Slam Shady.

How did it go, you ask?

And speaking of the Slam Shady, big shoutout to Andy Benedict and his dad for catching the beast of a redfish pictured at the top of this post.

They were on their way out to fish the beach, but the water was too rough, so they decided to settle for pitching a Slam Shady at the jetty in the pass.

Looks like Plan B worked out just fine!

Strong Angler Of The Week

Congrats to Teresa McCollough for the Strong Angler of the Week Award!

Teresa is an incredible angler and valuable member of our community.

She’s always posting great reports and helping out other anglers.

And not only that, but this past week she went out fishing three days in a row and guess what?

She caught three slams in a row!

She was throwing topwater in the early morning, white gulp pogy as the sun came up, and then live mullet in the evenings.

Teresa is a great example of what Salt Strong is all about, catching fish and helping others do the same!
