Conclusion

I noticed the picture above shows the prawn helix hook tied on with a loop knot. Does the prawn (or any other soft bait) need the loop for freedom of movement or would a snug knot work as well?

Yes, pretty much all lures are helped out by using a loop knot so that they have as much freedom of motion as possible.

Just got mine today!! cant wait to get them in the water. I had the same thought Chris had below. I wonder how well they would work with the bomber and the other SS lineup! Only one way to find out…LOL SaltStrong4Life!
Just got mine delivered, looking forward to putting them to use! How do y’all think the wider gap Hos helix would work with some of the other larger SaltStrong lures (Jerk baits, Bomber paddle tails, etc.)? Casually holding them up to each other, they seem like they’d be a great fit. Would they make more sense than the 4/0 Owner Twist Locks?
